The 2008 soccer season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in this club’s history. Not only does Olympic return to finally play in Brisbane’s Premier elite competition but our club has also nominated and been accepted to participate in the new Queensland State League which will kick off in March, 2008. In addition to this, our new facilities at Goodwin Park are set to be completed by mid February, 2008.
Olympic will be the proud owners of a new clubhouse and functions centre, new car parking facilities, a new 500 seat grandstand, three new playing fields, four new dressing rooms, new lights, underground watering systems, and a gym. Making Goodwin Park one of the best sporting grounds in Queensland. The committee has been working tirelessly in the off season to ensure that preparation for the new season runs as smoothly as possible. We have updated our website and our handbook and have streamlined our registration procedures.
