Under 13 Div1 v Rochedale

The boys travelled to Rochedale for this clash.The boys started well and were playing some very good football thus Adam scoring first. Rochedale came back to level 1-1 thru a freekick just prior to halftime. Some tackticle substitute by Coach Steve with a partly injured JordanG paid dividends with us recieving a penalty with 20min to go and Pana slotting it 2-1. All players played there leggs off in the latter part of the secong half with subbing on and off a very regularly occurance.Even thou the boys were very tied they hung in and could of scored a couple more goals to revlieve the pressure a little.Every player played to their ability plus 5% and we hung on to win.Some great balls by Stamati,Steff and MOM Alex W. Great games by Liam,AlexW,Steff,Michael,Pana,Stamati,Adam and good solid games by Heroo, Mihali, Chris, Bakka and JordanG. A special mention for JordanG who was only supposed to come and watch his team play but under the circumstances Steve(Coach) asked him if he could assist with giving his team mates a few subs and he did so.We picked up a few minor injuries this week so Happy Easter and treat those injuries.Great win boys!
